Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the De Stilte Walking Tour website and your participation in the De Stilte Walking Tour experience. By submitting an enquiry, making a booking, or participating in the walking tour, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Bookings & Enquiries

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Submitting an enquiry through the website does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once details have been agreed upon and confirmed directly with De Stilte Walking Tour.

Minimum Booking Requirement

A minimum booking of one full luxury glamping camp applies. This includes three luxury glamping tents and accommodates six guests. Premium glamping tents and the De Stilte Cottage are available as alternative accommodation options, subject to availability.

Participant Responsibility & Fitness

The De Stilte Walking Tour is designed for guests who enjoy long-distance walking and outdoor activities. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of completing the planned routes.

Guests participate in all walking activities at their own risk and are expected to follow the mapped routes, safety guidance, and any instructions provided.

Itinerary Changes

Walking routes and itineraries are carefully planned; however, route details — particularly mountain trails — may be subject to change due to weather conditions, safety considerations, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Any necessary adjustments will be made with guest safety as the priority.

Accommodation & Facilities

Accommodation is provided as outlined in the booking confirmation. Guests are expected to respect the accommodation, communal facilities, and the natural environment of De Stilte Farm.

Any damage caused by guests may result in additional charges.

Self-Catering

The De Stilte Walking Tour is a self-catering / self-help experience. Guests are responsible for bringing their own food and drinks. All kitchen, braai, and communal facilities are provided for guest use.

Transport

Guests are required to arrive at De Stilte Farm in their own vehicles. Shuttle transport is provided on Day 1 and Day 2 as part of the walking experience logistics.

Liability

While reasonable care is taken to ensure guest safety, participation in walking, hiking, and outdoor activities involves inherent risks. De Stilte Walking Tour, De Stilte Farm, and associated parties shall not be held liable for injury, loss, damage, or personal belongings during the experience, except where required by law.

Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times. De Stilte Walking Tour accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items.

Website Use

All content on this website is provided for general information purposes only. De Stilte Walking Tour reserves the right to update, modify, or remove content at any time without prior notice.

Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Governing Law
